Tuesday Bonus Challenge....

Ok, Ok, so it's not papercrafting related... but that's ok... my blog is fairly diverse!

I have a new "obsession". Ok, so maybe it's not an obsession, but it's something that I have enjoyed immensely over the last several days... Can you guess what it is?

Here's a clue:

Leave a comment on this post and tell me the significance of this 1950's Red Chevy Truck and I will randomly draw a name to win something from my stash on Friday.

*edited* Hints are added in the comments throughout the day until someone guesses....

Also, don't forget to keep voting for Sketch Challenge {005}!

Is the significance of your new antique 1950s truck that this was the last year Ford put that type of rear bumper on their trucks?
And is your new hobby restoring antiques?

that's not my truck, simply a photo of one.

Wish it was mine... it's kind of a cool car to be crusing around in.

zipping lips shut.

keep guessing!

OK - clue # 2

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with scrapbooking or memory preserving whatsoever.

Is it watching "Sanford & Son"?

My dad builds street rods and has a truck just like this that he's has since I was a kid. We used to go to Street Rod shows all the time, so that is my guess...Street Rods--hehe :).

Clue #4

"Softly he brushed my cheek, then held my face between his marble hands. 'Be very still,' he whispered, as if I wasn't already frozen. Slowly, never moving his eyes from mine, he leaned toward me. Then abruptly, but very gently, he rested his cold cheek against the hollow at the base of my throat."

Would you be working on pictures from the '50's for a heritage album and trying to do them digitally? Very cool truck! Wish it were mine!!

OK, dont know how the red truck ties in ,but your clue is a quote from "twilight" by Stephenie Meyer- anything to do with her or that series of books??

Diana said...

You are wishing for this car even though you can't have it. You are facing obstacles that are standing in your way to get this red car but if your business takes off maybe you can buy it.

I'm guessing it has something to do with your lovelife with your DH.

Like he picked you up in a red '50s Ford truck to go to the movies for your first date.

Or y'all had your first kiss in a truck like that. . . .

HollyLogic said...

If we can guess twice, then how about this was the getaway car at your wedding?

cnlpeterson said...

It is your obsession with Edward and Bella from Stephanie Meyer's Twilght series?
I too am completely obsessed!

The truck is the same one that Bella drives, the one that Jacob restored and his dad sold to Bella's dad. I pictured her's a little shinier though!

Happy reading!
